Bear is many things to many people\u2014a place to write, a tool to clip articles, even a way to organize your house<\/a>. For those who like to create a personal wiki or body of work, or turn Bear notes into webpages, we have a nice update for you today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bear 1.7.15 is out for iPad, iPhone<\/a>, and Mac<\/a>, and it has some great new features for linking notes together and exporting notes as HTML files. Let\u2019s cover the big stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wiki links for note headers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For a while now, Bear has supported linking notes together. With a simple [[<\/strong>, you can type to search for the name of a note, then press Return<\/strong> to create a link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, once you find a note to link, press \/ (forward slash) instead of Return<\/strong> to link to a header within that note<\/em>. It even works for linking to headers within the current note. While we are working on an actual ToC (table of contents) feature, this should hold you over for now. See it in action below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
