It was one of the most requested features in Capacities. We took our time but we think it was worth it. To be honest we are ourselves blown away how it turned out and weβre excited to hear what you think.

Itβs fast, and has a lot of powerful features built in for you to query all your content without thinking a lot about complex syntax. We think youβll love it.

You can now set a wide mode for you content, which is great for multi-column layouts and designing dashboards. βοΈ
In addition, you can now configure how preview images are displayed (cropped or contained). 
We've also added many fixes and improvements under the hood and some more small features. β

The update introduces a new Object Studioβwhich is like a template gallery for content typesβand a series of use-cases articles. 
For all Capacities Believers we are launching early access to block-based linking. 
On top, there are dozens of fixes, small improvements, and refinements throughout the app!

while we're working full steam on the mobile app, we just realized that we accumulated a lot of improvements and updates that are worth another release.

Most of you probably already heard that we released a beta version of the mobile app to all Believers. There is some info in the release as well, but we'll share more details on the mobile roadmap in the coming days.

This update is a major redesign with a new design system and a huge polishing effort with over 50 resolved tickets: a new date picker, unified menus, deep linking, and much more. No big feature additions, but countless improvements across the board. 
It basically touched all areas of the app and we hope it brings more joy to using it. The systematization of the design will also allow us to ship new features faster and more consistently.

We focused a lot on reliability, performance, and bug fixing in the last months. Because of that, we can now dedicate more resources to developing long-awaited features. You can expect to see more exciting things coming up in the next few months. We'll soon share a roadmap for the rest of this year.

Task actions are a first step in that direction. β
They allow you to connect Capacities to your favorite task manager. We think it's great for users who do a lot of task and time management.
Task actions are also another big step in the direction of integrating Capacities with more apps and workflows that you have outside of Capacities. Capacities connects to messenger to quickly input information, to Hookmark to link content between apps, and now to task managers to delegate tasks. 
We at Capacities already use task actions every day! 
Especially, when connecting other apps via Webhooks, one can create amazing automations.

οΈ It allows you to do a variety of different actions (tagging, editing collections, deleting, changing the object type or setting a different view, moving blocks and object references) on a selection of multiple objects and/or blocks.

Based on discussions here in the community, your feedback on our proposal, and the help of our incredible team of testers, we could continuously improve it towards today's version. Queries are a new fundamental concept of Capacities that is still integrated into all your current workflows. We are convinced that it will transform how we organize information and how we can explore content.
We have many more ideas and extensions around queries planned and will integrate them into Capacities over time.

Weβre super excited to launch Capacities Pro today. After over a year of support from our Believers, we can now offer a great package of features bundled into the new Capacities Pro plan.
What is included in Capacities Pro?
Capacities Pro is meant to supercharge your productivity. It includes the most powerful tools for modern knowledge work:

In the past weeks we worked really hard on tables in Capacities and they turned into something more than just "simple inline" tables. Starting today, they will be in early access for alle Believers and Pro subscribers. Around April, they will become available for everyone in the free plan.
We are super happy with our implementation and hope you will like it! It includes:

This release also includes a new synching protocol for much faster synching between devices, formatting options for number properties, a searchable shortcuts menu, and many small improvements and fixes.

Super excited to share the AI tagging feature. We tested it a lot and I use it every day since then! I hope it's useful for you as well.
