Carhartt WIP is making the ‘home’ in ‘work from home’ optional
A camo furniture set made with Helinox encourages you to set up shop outside.
Carhartt WIP is bringing its intersection of stylishness and durability to seating, storage, and protection. In partnership with Korean outdoor connoisseur Helinox, the two are bringing back a limited run of their three-piece collection of outdoor gear. Originally released in 2021, the capsule consists of a range of portable outdoor furniture that should handle all your needs.
Get some fresh air — Those who prefer to take their work on the road may be pleased to find that the chair and workspace from the collection are lightweight and super portable. The Sunset Chair has a high back and curved construction for that perfect amount of cradle and support. Aluminum alloy poles keep it locked in place, while the durable polyester fabric is able to withstand some wear. You can even store a water bottle or notebook in the mesh side pocket and attach a pillow for a quick snooze.
Whether your office of the day is the beach or the mountainside, the Tactical Field Office M work table uses the same aluminum alloy materials to prop it up without wobbling. At its side is a structured bin that holds a 15-liter cargo bag, but the modular nature of the workspace allows the full workspace to be set up in multiple ways.
If your electronics can’t handle a minimal increase in temperature without getting hot enough to fry an egg, the two brands have also crafted a Royal Box Shade tent. It’s big enough to fit the aforementioned chair and workspace or multiple people if you’re in a group setting. Fully prepared for the weather, the tent’s polyester ripstop fabric provides an SPF coverage of 50+ and the side panels are retractable to increase or decrease wind flow. And on those particularly windy days, the tent can be secured with guide ropes and J stakes and stored in a matching bag.
For the works in progress — It wouldn’t be a Carhartt production without its infamous branding, which can be found on each piece alongside the Helinox logo. The co-branded tags are then woven into the Carhartt WIP Camo Tide print that decorates the collection. Helinox is notorious for its packable camping gear, making its “At Home, Anywhere” tagline ring even more true with each collection. Its collab history is pretty well-stacked, including previous iterations with Stüssy, Jordan Brand, and Palace.
To spruce up the equipment for your next camping trip or remote workday, you can find the Carhartt WIP x Helinox collection on the former’s online shop and physical stores, as well as on Helinox’s website and Korean stores. The entire collection can be yours for a grand total of $1,125, putting a high price on outdoor relaxation.
