The Hummer EV isn't just relying on power and speed as selling points, though, it also comes with features like "crab walk" which helps the truck achieve a near strafe to either side. To scoot around tight spaces, the tires rotate 10-degrees as opposed to the typical three to five degrees of a normal vehicle. Plus, all four can rotate, not just the front two.
Another unique feature in GMC's revamped Hummer will allow the driver to raise the suspension of the truck by 6 inches with the press of a button. This will, theoretically, help avoid damage to the truck's (granted, reinforced) undercarriage when you're traversing some rockier-than-usual terrain.
Hummer will also stay true to its brand by offering this powerful electric truck at a premium price. The first edition, which will be released in fall 2021, starts at $112,595 and subsequent yearly releases will descend in price through 2024. The cheapest will be the $79,000 model that's due in spring of 2024, according to GMC.
