The post inRoute 8.0: RV Routing and Map Improvements appeared first on inRoute.
]]>inRoute 8.0 has been released, now with RV routing! For iOS 16 and macOS Ventura, we’ve also added support for selectable points of interest, improved map detail, and the ability to look around 360° at street-level imagery. If your device is set to automatically update apps, this release is being rolled out over the next 7-days, or you can manually update anytime through your App Store app.
RV Routing
Enter your RV’s dimensions, weight and whether you’re carrying propane, and inRoute will provide routes tailored to your vehicle that avoid clearance issues and weight/propane restrictions.
Selectable POIs (iOS 16 and Ventura)
You no longer need to search for points of interest to add them to the map. Now you can select points of interest directly on the map to get additional information or add them to your route.
New Maps (iOS 16 and Ventura)
New maps on iOS 16 include improved detail, 3D city views and terrain.
Look Around (iOS 16 and Ventura)
360° street-level imagery is now available in select cities and countries. Simply select any map pin or point of interest and an option to look around will appear on the map, when available.
