One of our goals with Bear is to give you a beautiful place to write and collect notes. One way we do that is by creating themes that give you a writing environment that feels right for the way you work.

Bear themes affect nearly everything you see — the background of the Sidebar, Note List, and Editor, text color, and even the highlight color of things like tags and links.

The free version of Bear includes three themes: Red Graphite (the default), High Contrast, and Dark Graphite (which goes great with the new Dark Mode in macOS Mojave).

If you subscribe to Bear Pro, you’ll unlock over a dozen more themes. Some have dark backgrounds and colors for those late night sessions, while others have light and sepia tones for a warmer vibe.
