One of our goals with Bear is to give you an ideal place to write, research, and take notes. To help with that, we regularly design beautiful, custom themes for Bear and Bear Pro to fit a variety of writing scenarios and moods. We’re up to 18 now!

Check out the preview thumbnail of (most of) our themes up above. The free version of Bear comes with three: Red Graphite, High Contrast, and Dark Graphite—a good option for Dark Mode!

As of this writing, an extra 15 themes come with Bear Pro, which unlocks a bunch of features like sync, note encryption, powerful export options, and more. Some themes are based on inspiration from fellow designers, and we thank them in this support doc.

We have green themes, a solarized theme, a theme called Panic Mode, themes with style, themes with subtlety. We even have a theme called Dieci—Italian for ‘ten’—built with a deep black background to look gorgeous on the iPhone X’s line of OLED displays.
