inRoute 7.7: Improvements for Saved Routes and Pins


inRoute 7.7 is now available on the iOS and Mac App Stores, with several improvements for searching your saved pins and routes, and more:

Favorites Search

Bookmarks have been renamed to Favorites, and you can now search your entire catalog of favorite routes, pins and folders from within Favorites.

Integrated Search

The main Search screen now automatically searches the saved pins in your Favorites as well, whenever you search the map through the app or CarPlay.

Siri Search

A new Siri Shortcut, “Restore Favorite”, has been added to restore your favorite routes and pins to the map, through the app or CarPlay. Enable through the app’s More button > Siri Shortcuts.

Other Improvements

  • inRoute is now available as a navigation app in the Where To? app by FutureTap.
  • Saving groups of pins in Draw Mode no longer automatically creates a new subfolder in Favorites, so you can choose exactly where your pins are stored in the save dialog.
  • Performance updates and minor interface improvements.
